I like how you focused on several points. But perhaps you could have added a personal story or went more in deep. I agree the Jim Crow Law has affected African American's freedom and rights. They have been through a lot. Great Job!

Before reading your post, I only had an idea that he was popular because he was elected four times more than any other presidents. But I got to see different points of why he was also popular. Your essay helped me understand more about FDR. Nice Job!

I like the way you summarized your primary source, it makes it easier to understand. I don't think the pilots were treated differently, even thought they were captured and brought to prison, their hard work before don't seem to be matter.

Many African American hope their service and help in World War 1 would have to bring them equality. They wanted to show that they were worth it.

This really seems a great story! Who would have known they will meet each other after 45 years and get married. I read another ad that one of our classmates wrote about and asking if we would search for a family member even if it had been 40 years. This really gives hope and tells us not to give up. In my opinion, if I meet someone after that long, I'm not so sure, to be honest. I feel I need to be in a real situation in order to decide.

If I lost a family member, 40 years might seem a lot but I would still look for them no matter what. If there was no news whether they are alive or dead. I would still be looking for them. But this will be challenging, because it has been a long time, and they were sold off to slavery. It just feels there will be so many thoughts running through your head.
